Maxim Integrated Products (Summer 2005):
Summer Intern. Fiber optics test group. I was responsible for
debugging various test circuit boards and programs running on the SZ M3650 and
GSI Lumonics laser trimmer as well as other wafer and packaged IC test
systems. I also problem solved production issues when they arose,
fabricated a number of circuit boards, including soldering components down to
0402 size, and performed various organizational tasks.
Carl’s Jr. Restaurant (June 2003 to December 2003, June 2004 to September 2004): Crew Personnel.
I was responsible for taking orders, delivering food to guests, cleaning the dining area, cashier’s area,
and bathrooms, inventory, and general maintenance.
Tremulous Development Team (Spring 2003 to present): Lead Modeler. I am responsible for most of the 3D
content in the Quake3 total conversion “Tremulous” including the conceptualization, creation, and animation of weaponry, environments, and both human and alien
players.
Reach Technology (various times between 1999 and 2002): Electronics assembler. Reach is a manufacturer of
high-tech custom electronics. I was responsible for assembling a variety of products. Most of this work
was mechanical assembly, but I also learned hand soldering.
I have also done some electronics assembly for my father’s business and designed web sites for family members.
